Data Breach Response Plan

RTO Training Resources Pty Ltd maintains a data breach response plan consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page summarises it.

If a breach is suspected

  • Contain — the responsible manager isolates the affected system or record set immediately.
  • Assess — within 72 hours we assess what information is involved, who is affected, and the likelihood of serious harm.
  • Notify — where the assessment finds likely serious harm, we notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner without undue delay.
  • Review — every incident closes with a documented cause analysis and remediation actions.

If you believe information you gave us may have been exposed, contact audits@rtotrainingresources.com.au immediately with "Data breach" in the subject line. We treat these reports with priority.
