Client Engagement Terms

These are the standard terms for fixed-scope engagements with RTO Training Resources Pty Ltd (ABN 17 631 073 213, ACN 631 073 213) trading as RTO Training Audits. A signed scope document forms the complete engagement together with these terms.
1. Scope and price
Every engagement has a written scope stating what is included, what is excluded, the fixed price, and the turnaround. The price is the price: if we misjudged the effort, that is our problem, not yours. Work outside the scope requires a new scope.
2. Your obligations
You provide the records listed in the scope by the agreed date, and nominate one contact authorised to answer questions. Turnaround clocks start when the listed records arrive, and pause when requested records are outstanding.
3. Deliverables
Deliverables are defined in the scope. Reports state what was reviewed, what was found, the evidence relied on, and the priority of each finding. Deliverables are for your internal compliance use and may be shown to the regulator.
4. What we do not promise
We do not promise a registration decision or a performance assessment outcome. ASQA decides. Our Outcomes Disclaimer is part of these terms.
5. Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's confidential information confidential. We do not name you as a client without written consent. Anonymised, non-identifying engagement patterns may inform our published content.
6. Fees and payment
Fixed fees are invoiced as stated in the scope (typically 50% on commencement, 50% on delivery) and payable within 14 days. Urgent-response engagements are invoiced on commencement.
7. Liability
Our liability for an engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement, except where the law does not permit that cap. Nothing excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed to the date of termination; any unearned prepaid fees are refunded.
